Nexera and Acurity, leading providers of hospital consulting and supply chain services and group purchasing, are looking to hire a Sales Director, Hospital Financial Improvement and Consulting in their Business Strategies division. The primary focus will be to create and close new revenue opportunities with hospitals and integrated delivery systems for the Nexera Consulting Services and Acurity Group Purchasing Organization (GPO). Duties and responsibilities will include: Execute on business strategy plans to achieve profit and growth objectives. Seek out new business opportunities and play a leading role in their development, pitch and final sale. Understand Nexera and Acurity service offerings and clients to develop new opportunities. Create increased awareness of service offerings of all business units among members and clients. Provide feedback to internal senior leadership regarding new business initiatives and opportunities. Continuously identify healthcare trends and opportunities that will result in additional product or service offerings. Drive business development process, including proposal strategy, pricing, presentation, scoping, billing and contract management; pull together the appropriate resources to support collaborative sales strategies. Work with staff to align our customized solution offerings with the needs of our current and prospective hospitals and clients. Serve as a content expert on top challenges for hospitals and health systems. Skills & Experience: Bachelor's degree required, advanced degree a plus. 7+ years of experience working in the acute care hospital environment, management consulting, sales or business strategy. In-depth knowledge of healthcare operations, GPO, supply chain management, healthcare reform, and population health management. Active professional network of hospital and healthcare executivesStrong presentation skills with influential executive presence. Extensive customer service skills in a dynamic executive environment. Ability to work in a collaborative team environment, as well as independently. Highly developed quantitative and qualitative analytical skills, with excellent knowledge of MS Word, Power Point, Outlook, and Excel. Comfort working with sales technology platforms such as Dynamics or Salesforce. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Extensive travel, as necessary, for client presentations, conferences and industry meetings. A valid driver's license is required.
