POSITION SUMMARYDesigns enterprise wide and/or cross-functional solutions to address business problems. This work results in initiatives that significantly impact company strategy enabling Aetna to be competitive in the marketplace and effectively serve its customers. Partners with business owners to optimize the achievement of strategic business objectives, to include profitable growth and improved organizational effectiveness. (Focus includes one or more of the following disciplines: Management consulting, business process/project consulting, financial strategic analysis, mergers and acquisitions, strategic business planning, and, or risk management consulting).This role includes management and oversight, project management, business partnership of all Lean Six Sigma training from White to Black belt to include mentoring, coaching throughout to certification process, and required to be on the Certification Board. Fundamental Components:Partners with managers or directors on small-sized business area(s) or an enterprise /business area sub function with modest productivity goals in order to impact the business results and improve operational performance. Drives or guides engagement using disciplined, repeatable ABX (Achieving Business eXcellence) methodology and standards. Provides oversight to or drives initiative planning as required. Designs, develops interventions and facilitates work sessions. Develops and delivers all required analysis, reporting and presentation materials related to ABX initiatives; following standards. Partners with managers or directors on small-sized business area(s) or an enterprise /business area sub function with modest productivity goals in order to impact the business results and improve operational performance. Drives or guides engagement using disciplined, repeatable ABX methodology and standards. Provides oversight to or drives initiative planning as required. Designs, develops interventions and facilitates work sessions. Develops and delivers all required analysis, reporting and presentation materials related to ABX initiatives; following standards. BACKGROUND/EXPERIENCE desired:Required: 8+ years experience with several of the following methodologies: management consulting, project consulting, business process consulting, financial strategic analysis, mergers and acquisitions, strategic business planning, and/or risk management consulting. Required: Business knowledge Continuous Improvement application experience Required: Lean, Six Sigma, Black Belt certificationRequired: Lean Management System (LMS), Lean Business Management experience (deployments, transformation).Required: Superior facilitation skills, coaching, executive influencing skillsRequired: Managing staff of direct reportsRequired: Experience with enterprise-wide and/or cross-functional large scale initiatives with high degree of complexity. Required: Demonstrated experience successfully implementing change in complex organizations. Required: Demonstrated superior business process, project management and organizational redesign experience. Required: Demonstrated leadership with relevant initiatives: Business process, enterprise business project management/consulting, financial strategic planning and analysis, mergers and acquisitions, strategic planning, risk management. Required: Demonstrated relationship management and coaching skills at the senior and executive management level; capacity to quickly build and maintain credible relationships at varying levels of the organization simultaneously. Experience with AGILE, SCRUM, Kanban a plus.Experience with the following needed:- Critical thinking skills. - Time management skills. - Organizational skills. - Negotiation and influencing skills - Relationship and change management skills. - Analytical and planning skills- project management. - Oral and written communication skills. - Team leadership and team building skills. EDUCATIONThe highest level of education desired for candidates in this position is a Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
