About Momofuku

Established by chef and founder David Chang in 2004 with the opening of Momofuku Noodle Bar, Momofuku has grown to include restaurants in New York City, Washington D.C., Sydney, Toronto, Las Vegas, and Los Angeles; a casual chicken spot (Fuku); and a bakery (Milk Bar), established by award-winning pastry chef Christina Tosi. About B ng Bar

B ng means bread in Korean, and the menu is built around flatbread and vertical spits of roasted meats. Located on the third floor of the Shops at Columbus Circle, B ng Bar serves breakfast and lunch.

Momofuku Cashiers are responsible for organizing individual stations and communicating with guests to provide a restaurant experience that is a friendly and hospitable.


  • Responsible for the daily set up, break down and maintenance of our to-go space, including, but not limited to: Stocking and maintaining all food service supplies, condiment station, dining areas, trash set up and take out, paper goods, etc.
  • Assist with the flow of guests by taking food and drink orders as needed
  • Monitoring the status of placed orders and managing the flow of pickup
  • Detailed Food and Beverage knowledge of our product and company as a whole
  • Collect credit card payments from customers
  • Ensuring guest satisfaction by openly communicating with management if any service issues arise
  • Responsible for communicating openly and thoroughly with General Manager, Manager, Shift Supervisors, and fellow employees
  • Assuring the quality of food and arrangement of dishes are as per the standards marked by Momofuku management
  • Maintaining detailed records of served orders and collected payments and running a report daily at the conclusion of each shift
  • Maintain proper organization and cleanliness at all times
  • Maintain, clean and sanitize the kitchen and counter area, including equipment
  • Responsible for strict adherence to Momofuku s Food Safety

Skills & Requirements

  • High school graduate or equivalent desired, culinary school or equivalent experience desired
  • Must be able to communicate and understand the language(s) of the work location
  • Basic knowledge of kitchen equipment and procedures, safety and sanitation regulations, and knowledge of food and food production
  • NYC Food Handlers Certificate
  • Must be able to read and execute checklist
  • Customer service experience desired

Physical Demands

The physical demands for this position are seeing, hearing, speaking, reaching, frequently occasionally lifting 25 50 pounds, sitting, standing, for 4 to 8 hours, bending, squatting, and moving intermittently during working hours. These physical requirements may be accomplished with or without reasonable accommodations.
