About the Position

Are you a hungry and driven sales go-getter who thrives in a highly collaborative environment? Are you skillful at generating new sales by targeting good-fit customers to ensure fast and sustainable company growth? If so, we re looking for you! BuildingLink is seeking an energetic, highly motivated, and entrepreneurial-spirited sales professional to join our Customer Growth team. The ideal candidate will possess an uncanny ability to market, sell, and promote BuildingLink, the most innovative property management solution on the market. You ll have the opportunity to find creative ways to identify new leads and grow our customer-base.

You may be wondering how we re going to set you up for success. We ll match you up with the most senior and dynamic members of our Sales team to learn the ropes. Within the first couple of months, we ll also put you on a part-time rotation with our awesome Training & Customer Support team to further round-out your BuildingLink domain knowledge. All in all, you ll learn the ins and outs about our customers, platform, relationships with one another, and what makes us so great. This is a full-time, remote position open to candidates located throughout the US. As a remote employee, you should expect to spend some time with us in our NYC office to get you up to speed.

Job responsibilities include:

  • Generating a pipeline of quality leads by visiting luxury residential properties, target account selling, outbound cold calling, and calling on marketing-generated and inbound leads.
  • Managing all incoming sales requests via phone and email with a high sense of urgency, care, and professionalism.
  • Explaining the generalities, functions, and benefits of our technology to eliminate common objections and expand our footprint in the market.
  • Serving as the face of the company to establish and nurture long-term relationships with both new and existing customers, including property management companies, property managers, board directors, property owners, and other associated industry professionals.
  • Supporting the Sales team with administrative tasks, including setting up meetings/demos with prospective customers, managing ad-hoc projects, and responding to customer emails.
  • Leveraging our CRM, sales tracking tools, sales metrics, summary reports and analytics to ensure progress is recorded & communicated with appropriate stakeholders.

Requirements

About You

  • 2 to 4+ years of experience with lead generation or sales.
  • Bachelor s degree in a related field or equivalent work experience.
  • Proven record of prospecting, generating new business, and growing accounts.
  • Excellent communication (written and oral), analytical, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong sense of ownership and initiative. We love those who are comfortable taking charge!
  • Masterful in anticipating sales obstacles and overcoming objections.
  • Self-driven, organized, dependable, and possessing a project management skillset.
  • Proficiency with social media platforms (Twitter, Facebook, Instagram,) and Microsoft Office Suite (particularly Microsoft Excel).
  • Able to prioritize and re-prioritize competing initiatives based on shifting business needs.
  • B2B Sales experience within real estate or property management experience a MAJOR PLUS .
  • Willingness to travel as required (up to 40%).
  • This a full-time, remote position open to candidates located throughout the US.
