Position Summary:

The Vice President, Education and Engagement within the Company at Work Marketing team will be responsible for driving the strategy and execution to educate, engage and, over time, build and expand relationships with companies and their employees that receive workplace benefits from Company. Our corporate offerings include Stock Plan Services, Corporate Retirement, and Financial Wellness businesses. Working closely with the head of our Company at Work business and management team, this individual will be responsible for establishing a comprehensive marketing strategy for corporate clients and their employees that spans across various decision-making points in the sales funnel, including B2C education and engagement tactics and a robust digital marketing approach to nurture and drive conversions over time. This person will need to define and consistently message the key value propositions across our offerings, develop marketing and educational materials (print, digital and live delivery), and manage ongoing engagement programs to drive new and deeper relationships with the Firm. Some travel in this role is required. Importantly, incorporating insights from metrics and measurement will define success.

Principal Areas of Responsibilities:

  • Develop the execution strategy to educate, engage and, over time, build and expand relationships with customers that receive workplace benefits from Company.
  • Define a scalable Marketing & Communications strategy to the employee base, leveraging modern targeting and content techniques, including new client and drip email campaigns Act as marketing SPOC for key corporate clients (and accompanying Advisors and Directors), managing all marketing updates, statuses and communications with client teams
  • Integrate and partner with other MS at Work teams to fully serve clients and their employees to deliver an optimal approach to drive revenue for the firm
  • Partner with key corporate relationships to define and implement employee engagement strategies, leveraging data-driven insights to identify areas of opportunity, developing a multi-channel engagement strategy and establishing key performance indicators to measure success
  • Develop and optimize creative and effective offers to employee populations, driving adoption of Firm digital advice platforms and banking/lending (offer communication / creative / measurement / optimization)
  • Actively market digital educational offerings to drive engagement and retail business
  • Develop right mix of digital webinar vs on-site corporate education events
  • Work with Advisors and Operations on Inbound / Outbound calling campaigns (leveraging analytics for campaigns)
  • Actively engage with key stakeholders throughout the organization including technology, legal, compliance, risk, field communications, and other corporate marketing teams to drive key business initiatives
  • Analyze the competitive landscape to identify industry trends, strengths and weaknesses to assess impact and opportunities


  • A minimum of 10 years of marketing and/or communications experience in the financial services industry
  • B.A. or B.S. with a concentration in Marketing, Communications or Economics a plus
  • Previous client management a plus
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent interpersonal, collaboration, client focus and organizational skills
  • Strong ability to communicate, present to large audiences, and interact with senior people
  • Ability to simultaneously manage multiple engagements, prioritize and resolve complex problems and escalate as necessary, in a deadline oriented environment
  • Ability to pitch in and work hard in a lean environment
  • Knowledge of legal and compliance policies related to financial service industry a plus
  • Experience with leveraging multiple marketing channels
  • Ability to identify issues and trends in order to anticipate change and provide recommended comprehensive solutions
