Hill-Roms Information Technology Leadership Development Program (ITLDP) is a multi-year rotational program for recent college graduates who have a strong desire to begin a career in a highly specialized program designed for each individual to develop a rewarding, functional skill set at a company that manufactures market leading medical products. The program is designed to allow for a fast-paced entry into your Information Technology career with a world-class, medical device manufacturer. The program provides real world training to promising future operational and IT leaders while accomplishing projects that align with Hill-Roms goals and mission.
Participants will complete rotations in areas such as applications, infrastructure, business intelligence, continuous improvement, project management and service delivery.
Assignments that span the globe in scope
Comprehensive curriculum including formal training, on the job training and experience focused on enhancing technical, business and professional leadership skills.
Assigned mentor throughout program
Opportunity to participate in and/or lead projects that solve real business needs
Explore and propose creative information technology solutions to business problems
Pursues opportunities for efficiencies to achieve cost reduction
Troubleshoot processes and develop improvements
Assist business partners with formal projects and ad hoc requests
Perform analysis, design, implementation and maintenance activities within information technology
Provides monthly report covering accomplishments and status of projects
Ensure all work is in compliance with all Hill-Roms policies supporting FDA, SOX and HIPAA regulations
Bachelors or Masters degree in Information Technology, Business, Computer Science or related field
Minimum 3.0 GPA
Relevant Work or Intern/Co-op experience in Information Technology or related field preferred
Demonstrated outstanding leadership skills, business acumen and technical skills
Excellent in oral and written communications, analytics and problem solving
A passion for a career in information technology
Ability to define problems, identify solutions and follow through to completion
Demonstrated Hill-Rom competencies: Strategic skills, courageous leadership, operations mastery, people skills, energy and drive.
