This is a full time (40 hour) position! $7,500sign on bonus for new hires!The NurseManager is responsible for directing health care services and employees inorder to ensure the delivery of quality health services to children/youth.Essential functions of this job include, but arenot limited to:+ Conducts quality assurance reviews for nursing systems and nursing employees.+ Provides ongoing supervision and provides feedback and training to thenursing employees.+ Develops performance objectives and conducts performance reviews forthe nursing employees and health support employees.+ Performs all of the clinical functions of an RN and/or LPN as required.+ Assures the health care provided to the youth in care is in compliancewith all regulatory mandates and procedures.+ Understands and assists with the development of all health careservice delivery systems.+ Maintains and reviews contracts with external providers.+ Hires, terminates, trains, schedules and manages nurses and supportspersonnel+ Oversees and controls salary and health care costs within the program.+ Monitors and responds to client movement, including referral,admissions, health care and discharge.+ Routinely interacts with clients, families, and external contacts andrepresents the agency with professionalism, tact, and cultural sensitivity.+ Knows and adheres to all federal, state, and local statutes,regulatory agency standards, and Hillside Family of Agency policies, includingbut not limited to OMH, CPS DSS, JCAHO, SED, & OSHA regulations.Bachelorsdegree from an accredited Registered Nursing program and NY RN license arerequired. Candidates must have a minimum of 2 years of RN experience. Candidateswith 3-5 years of child/adolescent psychiatric and/or pediatric RN experience and those with supervisory/managementexperience are preferred. Candidates should have a valid drivers license andmeet agency driving standards.
