We are seeking Channel Sales Engineers in the West and East Regions of the US. In this role, you will be the primary technical resource supporting our channel partners as part of the sales engineering team. You will also be responsible for all technical aspects of our solution, actively driving training and enablement with our partners and customers in the regions.


* The Channel Sales Engineering position will be responsible for assuring Mist's products delight partners and customers

* Provide product demos on all aspects of the Mist solution

* Strategically position the Mist solution vs competitive architectures

* Extensive knowledge of layer 1 through 7 network stack to assist partners to implement the Mist products in customer environments

* Collaborate with the sales, product marketing and engineering teams to work on partner projects and keep one another updated on new marketplace dynamics

* Plan, manage, execute training and enablement programs for Mist's partner community

* Facilitate the planning and preparation of partner SEs in achieving Mist certifications

* Be responsible for partner pre-sales activities, including competitive training, test plans, demos, proof of concepts and RFPs

* The ability to communicate the technical and business advantages of a partnership with Mist to channel partners

* Have fun


* 4+ years sales engineering and channel experience in the territory at either a WLAN manufacturer or partner experience is required. It is desirable that you have start-up company experience

* WLAN design experience with Ekahau, AirMagnet tools are a must.

* Ability to multitask, manage complex schedules and priorities

* Must be able to work independently with a passion to sell and win

* Excellent written, verbal, presentation and phone communication skills

* Open to travel 50% of the time
