Were looking for experienced sales development rockstars who are hungry, disciplined, creative and intelligent. As a Sales Development Representative (SDR) on the Education team you will work close with outside sales representatives to fill their pipeline with pre-qualified opportunities. Using strong prospecting skills, you will balance contacting warm inbound leads and driving self-sourced leads for the sales pipeline. Job Opportunity: Identify and pursue prospects in higher education institutions Effectively and independently distill and deliver the Kaltura value proposition, articulating Kalturas product, integrations, and features over the phone, via video and through written communication. Manage a pipeline of inbound interest and self-sourced leads to identify, engage, pre-qualify and schedule a valuable meeting for outside sales representatives. Be an internal thought leader at prospecting best practices and share your skills with other SDRs and Sales professionals. Bring your thinking, strategies, and ideas to advance our companys values, unique culture, and vision for the future Partner with marketing to execute prospecting strategies Travel approximately 10% What we are looking for: BA/BS preferred or equivalent work experience with demonstrated proficiency 2 years sales development experience, preferably in SaaS sales. Experience in the education industry a plus. A proven new business generator with a passion for prospecting new business from initial outreach to discovery and pre-qualification Have the desire and commitment to do what it takes to be successful in sales Someone who loves the art and science of prospecting and is looking to become a leader and progress to management should an opportunity arise. Have a sharp focus on their goals and a belief that their daily, weekly and monthly activities will help achieve them A quantifiable track record of meeting/exceeding quotas A team player and a self-starter We are looking for candidates located in the Greater New York City area.
