We are seeking an individual with strong sales and communication skills to work on licensee solicitation.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Conducting research on target industries (size, growth, competitors and other factors) to develop a sales strategy and identify prospective licensee partner candidates
  • Creating marketing and sales materials for use in licensee solicitation and client presentations
  • Identifying and qualifying potential target licensee partners
  • Solicit, review and negotiate with prospective licensee partners. Coordinate negotiation between client and prospective licensee partners.
  • Assist in the closing of licensing partnership agreements.

This position requires some domestic and potentially some international travel, including attendance at events such as the Licensing Expo, and relevant trade shows.

Job Requirements

Ability to interact with senior level client and licensee executives; ability to create and deliver compelling and effective presentations and sales pitches.

We seek a self-motivated individual with sales and presentation experience in a B2B oriented environment. The ideal candidate will be equally comfortable at a computer doing research and developing sales materials, as he/she is in front of a client delivering a compelling presentation. The individual should have a strong grounding in business strategy and marketing. MBA and foreign language skills are each a plus.
