Title: Sr. MuleSoft Engineer


Location: New York (Tri-State)


Full-Time/Permanent



Current Mason Frank client is on the lookout for an experienced Senior MuleSoft Engineer to lead and drive integrations for their Engineering platforms. Ideal candidate will primarily be asked to design, develop, test and support third part software applications. Within this role, you'll collaborate with other IT team members and business partners to build solutions then meet or exceed business goals.



Day to Day


-Design, build and support MuleSoft integrations (Hybrid deployment) and translate business requirements into technical specifications.


-Maintain a backlog of User Stories in Jira, and cover functional and non-functional requirements


-Automate CI/CD pipelines


-Lead and participate in development efforts while guiding the Engineering team


-Support client initiatives and accelerate development lifecycle to achieve maximum efficiency


-Participate in quality assurance activies including unit testing, QA testing and documentation of test scripts and instructions for user acceptance testing (UAT) testing.



Technical Requirements


-(5) + years of experience with implementing service-oriented architecture (SOA) and enterprise application integration (EAI) using technologies like MuleSoft, webMethods, or TIBCO


-Minimum of (5) years of experience coding Java/J2SE/J2EE using Spring frameworks including Spring MVC and security.


-Experience developing enterprise services using RESTful Application Program Interface (API)


-Strong knowledge in designing Mule components (Mule ESB, Extract, Transform, Load (ETL), Routing, Exception Handling, API Management).


-Ability to configure APIs, proxy endpoints, API portals and analytics based on technical specifications.


-Experience in continuous integration and continuous deployment using Maven, Jenkins, Git, and MuleSoft.


-Experience with full-cycle projects from initial scoping, estimations, through delivery.


-Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies.



Education


Bachelor's degree required (Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems or related field).
