You will be integral to our go-to-market projects and ensuring a successful launch, in addition to being part of the enablement plan for Sales. You will have an active role maintaining effective communication with key stakeholders on our sales, product, finance, legal, engineering plus other teams. If you don't have the solution yourself, you know who to go to for further insights.The Director, Program Management is a key leadership role within Finance and Operations, working alongside a variety of departments on highly visible, complex strategic initiatives and driving end-to-end cross functional program management. You will help manage GTM projects, including new products, new offerings, changes to current offerings, integration of products from acquired companies etc. while coordinating and communicating launch plans to executives.You will be responsible for standardizing processes and improving efficiencies across the business. You and your team will maintain documentation relating to projects, offer best practices, track metrics, offer and/or organize training.Responsibilities* Lead a team of highly motivated and successful Program Managers* Leading and driving successful completion of projects that cross over various different departments/ teams* Own all program management for our GTM strategy across business units* Work with stakeholders from every area of the business to evaluate and drive business decisions within an ambiguous environment* Communicate with executives and stakeholders on project status and timelines during implementation* Create a shared narrative with milestones while tracking progress and ensuring the plan succeeds* Develop plans an processes that will be implemented by other teamsRequirements* A project manager with 8+ years of experience* A university graduate, preferably with a degree in a business or quantitative field* Excited about MongoDB's mission and core database technology* Background working with multiple areas of the organization; such as Product Management, Engineering, Marketing, Sales, Consulting, and Finance* Experience leading and implementing multiple project management strategies* Demonstrated skills building strong working relationships and influencing both internal and external stakeholders at all levels; have passion and conviction with the innate ability to inspire others* Demonstrated ability to work in a fast-paced, ambiguous, deadline-oriented, and rapidly changing environment* Excellent written and verbal communication skills* Demonstrated ability to use data to derive actionable insights and drive decisions in a business environment* Familiarity working with project tracking softwares (e.g. JIRA, Rally, MS Project)* MongoDB, Inc. provides equal employment opportunities to all employees and applicants for employment and prohibits discrimination and harassment of any type without regard to race, color, religion, age, sex, national origin, disability status, genetics, protected veteran status, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, or any other characteristic protected by federal, state or local laws*
