The program provides a strong curricular foundationdesigned to anticipate and address the needs of leaders, teams andorganizations in the 21century markets. Upon graduation, studentsare able to examine, evaluate, and implement solutions usinganalytical methods and technology, but also to persuasivelycommunicate with the broad array of stakeholder audiences.Job DescriptionThis full-time position is a clinical, one-year renewable facultyappointment. The rank of the position will be determined dependenton candidate's experience and qualifications.A successful candidate will work closely with the Academic Directorto develop and deliver impactful and engaging course work andprogram materials in the people analytics domain. Additionally, asuccessful candidate will be expected to perform the followingresponsibilities: Advance thought leadership through applied industryresearchBuild industry relationships and partnerships to enhance theprogram's connection to the workplaceSupport the growth and development of adjunct faculty baseContribute collaboratively to the advancement of theDivision's, Schools and NYU's mission and strategy Along with direct teaching responsibilities, a successfulcandidate will be expected to act as an advocate for the program,assisting at orientation and information events, serving oncommittees, advising students, and building relationships andprograms within NYU SPS and within NYU.QualificationsA PhD, or equivalent degree, in I/O Psychology, Human ResourcesManagement or a related discipline is preferred, with a minimumdegree of MBA, M.S. or other related Master's program, plus 8-10years working experience.The ideal candidate will be able to lead in the creation ofintellectual capital around topic areas directly relevant to HumanCapital Analytics and Technology practitioners, which could beapplied through classroom teaching, publication in business oracademic journals, industry conferences and partnerships.Experience and research in the areas of Strategic Human CapitalManagement, Talent Assessment, People Analytics and Technology,would be desirable, as would be experience in curriculum, course,and program development.The review of credentials will begin immediately and will continueuntil the position is filled.
